In June, I participated in EBPCO's annual Film Swap, where we each shot a roll of film (or sheets of film) and then swapped with a partner, who shot over the same roll or sheets to create a double exposure. It was a lot of fun, and I was surprised by how much beautiful, accidental art we made.
I. Film Roll 1
I shot my first roll at the San Jose Rose Garden and the newly renovated Sunnyvale Community Center. Dr. Philm layered in shots of patterns. I love how the variety of colors looks over my shots of seemingly plain scenes.

II. Film Roll 2
I shot these at The Marketplace in Cupertino and at Target in downtown Sunnyvale, and stacked them on top of Dr. Philm's photos of random stuff. Two of my favorite shots from this roll are number one, the Godzilla mural on top of the American flag photo, and number three, the shot of ceiling lights on top of a mural eye. So good.

II. Ilford HP5 Plus
I shot these in San Francisco at Bayfront Park and the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Kim layered in macro shots of plants from her place on top of mine. I love how we accidentally focus on 2 opposites: wide shots of landscapes/vistas and macro shots.
