In Search of Home (working title) is an ongoing exploration of a sense of dislocation that has marked much of my life. For as long as I can remember, I've struggled to answer the question of who I am. I've never quite felt that I belonged — not in the places I've lived, not in the roles the world has assigned me, and not always within myself. Layered with dysthymia, these lived experiences leave me in a perpetual in-between world, longing to be accepted and understood.
The series moves through blurred interiors, open spaces, and a figure who appears present but never quite settled — navigating rooms, streets, and landscapes that feel inhabited but not owned. She is there, but not yet home. Like me.
