In Search of Home (working title) moves through blurred interiors, open spaces, and a solitary figure who appears present but never quite settled. She navigates rooms, streets, and landscapes that feel inhabited but not owned, lingering in places that can be entered but not fully claimed.
The work grows from a life lived between places and identities. As an immigrant, life unfolds between former and current homes. Navigating gender identity introduces another threshold — between the self the world insists on seeing and the one that remains unseen.
These photographs inhabit that in-between world — one marked by distance, longing, and the quiet search for belonging. She is there, but not yet home. Like me.
Talent: Emily.
