Arvian Heidir (b. 1971) left a career in software engineering to pursue photography full-time in 2023. Based in Sunnyvale, CA, she creates work centered on interior emotional experience, including mood, stillness, and the quiet undercurrents of being present in the world. Photography has become both her primary language and her way of making sense of things. Her photographs have been exhibited in group shows in the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey Bay since 2024.
